Home Gym Solutions

A home gym only works if it fits the room you actually have. We size the equipment to your floor area, ceiling height and how you train — then deliver and assemble it, so nothing arrives in a box you have to wrestle with.

Start with the space, not the shopping list

Most home gyms go wrong in one of two ways: equipment that does not fit once it is assembled, or a rack that cannot be used because the ceiling is too low. Measure these three things before you buy anything.

What to check Why it matters
Floor area A single station needs roughly 4–6 m² including the space you move in. A rack plus bench plus walkway is closer to 8–10 m².
Ceiling height Overhead pressing and pull-ups need about 2.4 m clear. Most racks are 2.1–2.3 m tall before you stand on a platform.
Floor build-up and access Rubber tiles add height. Doorways, lifts and stair turns decide whether a one-piece frame can physically reach the room.

Send us the room dimensions and a photo. We will tell you what fits before you commit — including what will not.

Three ways people set up at home

01

Compact corner

An adjustable bench, a dumbbell set and a mat. Fits a spare-room corner or a balcony. See Small Space Gym.

02

Full room

Rack, bench, barbell and plates, plus one cardio machine. The usual choice for a dedicated spare room or garage.

03

Premium build

Multi-station or functional trainer, commercial-rated cardio, flooring and mirrors. See Premium Home Gym.

Shop the ranges

Packages, if you would rather not choose piece by piece

Bundles cover the common combinations and remove the guesswork about whether items work together — bar diameter matching your plates, bench height matching your rack. See Home Gym Packages and Home & Multi Gym.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum space for a usable home gym?

Around 4 m² is enough for a bench, adjustable dumbbells and a mat — that covers most strength training. For a rack with a barbell you want closer to 8–10 m² so you can load plates and step back safely. Cardio machines need their own footprint plus clearance behind, which is often forgotten with treadmills.

Do I need special flooring?

If you are dropping weights or using a rack, yes. Rubber tiles protect the slab, cut noise for neighbours below, and stop equipment shifting. For dumbbell and machine-only setups a good mat under each station is usually enough. Bear in mind tiles add 15–30 mm of height, which eats into ceiling clearance.

Will you assemble it, or does it arrive flat-packed?

We assemble it. Home gym equipment is heavy and often has torque-critical bolts on safety components, so it is not something to guess at. Assembly is arranged with delivery rather than booked separately.

Can equipment fit into an apartment?

Usually, but access decides it. Lift dimensions, stair turns and door widths matter more than the room itself. Tell us the building and floor when you enquire and we will check whether a one-piece frame can get there or whether a modular alternative is the sensible choice.

Is home equipment different from commercial equipment?

Yes — frame gauge, bearing quality, upholstery durability and warranty terms all differ, and so does price. Home-rated equipment is correct for a household. If several people will use it daily, or it is going into a shared building, commercial-rated is the safer specification.
