Go to the shopA performance centre is specified backwards from the athletes. Not “what does a gym have” but “what do these athletes need to do, and how many at once” — which usually produces a room with fewer machines and far more open floor than a commercial gym.

Commercial floor
Squad size and session structure. Fifteen athletes training simultaneously in blocks needs three or four racks and enough platform space that nobody waits — which is a different budget shape from one premium rack and a wall of machines. Tell us the squad size and the session format and we will size against that.
Flooring is not an afterthought here. Dropped Olympic lifts need dedicated platforms; sled work needs turf. See Gym Flooring.
Work from athletes training at once divided by how many share a rack in your session format — usually two or three. Fifteen athletes in pairs needs seven or eight stations, which is why performance rooms end up rack-heavy and machine-light.
Usually some, but far less than a commercial floor — rowers, bikes and a sled cover most conditioning needs. Treadmill banks rarely earn their space in a performance room.
Tell us the sport and the coaching approach and we will specify against it. Where a requirement is outside what we supply, we will say so rather than substituting something that does not do the job.
Send the room area, squad size, session format and ceiling height. We will return a layout built around how your athletes actually train.
