Commercial Gym Solutions

RAZ1STORE equips commercial gyms across the UAE — independent clubs, studios, franchise sites and hotel-operated facilities. We plan the floor, supply the equipment, install it, and service it afterwards, so you deal with one supplier from drawing to opening day.

Who this is for

01

New gym launches

Opening a floor from an empty shell. You need a layout, an equipment schedule and a realistic budget before you sign anything.

02

Refits and upgrades

Replacing tired cardio, adding a functional zone, or re-zoning to fit more members into the same square metres.

03

Multi-site operators

Rolling out a consistent equipment spec across several locations, phased over time with matching aftercare.

How a commercial project runs

  1. Site survey and briefFloor area, ceiling height, access routes, power and flooring conditions, plus your expected member numbers and peak-hour load.
  2. Zoning and layoutCardio, resistance, free weights and functional zones set out with correct circulation and safety clearances. See Gym Planning & Design.
  3. 3D visual approvalYou see and sign off the floor before a single item is ordered. See 3D Gym Layout.
  4. Equipment schedule and quotationLine-by-line specification against the approved layout, with alternatives at different budget levels.
  5. Delivery and installationSequenced to your build programme, assembled and positioned by our own team. See Equipment Installation.
  6. Handover and aftercareStaff familiarisation, then scheduled servicing under an Annual Maintenance Contract.

Equipment we specify

Commercial floors take continuous use, so the specification differs from home equipment in frame, bearings, upholstery and warranty. These are the ranges we build commercial schedules from:

Brands we hold directly for commercial work include Insight Fitness, TORO, FITMARE and APUS Poland.

Indicative floor mix

A starting point for planning, not a fixed rule — the split changes with your membership profile and class programme.

Zone Share of floor Typical contents
Cardio 25–35% Treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, rowers, steppers
Resistance machines 25–30% Selectorised stations, plate-loaded, cable machines
Free weights 20–30% Racks, benches, dumbbells, barbells, plates
Functional / stretch 10–20% Rigs, trainers, turf, mats, accessories

Plan circulation before equipment. Under-estimating walkways and loading zones is the most common reason a floor has to be re-laid after opening.

Packages and phasing

If you would rather start from a defined bundle than a blank sheet, see Gym Packages. Larger sites are commonly phased — cardio and resistance at opening, free weights and functional added once membership builds. We will schedule the phases so the layout still works at every stage.

For turnkey delivery including flooring, mirrors and storage, see Commercial Gym Setup (B2B). Club-specific requirements are covered on Fitness Clubs.

Keeping the floor running

Commercial equipment fails from use, not age. Belts, bearings, cables and upholstery are consumables at commercial volumes, and unplanned downtime on a popular station is what members notice.

Frequently asked questions

How much floor area do I need per member?

As a planning figure, allow roughly 3.5 to 4.5 m² of usable training floor per member present at peak, not per registered member. A 400 m² floor typically supports 80–110 people at once once circulation and reception are excluded. Bring your expected peak occupancy to the survey and we will size against it.

How long does a commercial fit-out take?

Layout and 3D approval usually take one to two weeks once we have measurements. Delivery depends on which items are in stock versus indent, and installation of a mid-size floor is typically a few days on site. We give you a dated schedule with the quotation rather than a general estimate.

Can you work to an existing architect's drawing?

Yes. Send the drawing and we will overlay the equipment layout onto it, flagging anything that conflicts with power positions, ceiling height or flooring build-up before it becomes a site problem.

Do you handle flooring as part of the project?

Yes — rubber tiles, rolls, platforms and turf are specified and installed alongside the equipment. See Gym Flooring. Getting flooring right under free-weight and deadlift zones protects both the slab and the equipment.

What warranty applies to commercial equipment?

Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and by whether the item is rated for commercial or home use. Commercial ratings are a condition of cover, so we specify accordingly and confirm the exact terms per line item in your quotation.

Do you supply outside Dubai?

Yes, we deliver and install across the Emirates. Servicing and AMC cover the UAE; for GCC projects, tell us the location and we will confirm what we can support before quoting.
